Kentucky State University is boosting pawpaw's profile with its research program & recent partnership with Ale-8-One that launched the limited-edition Pawpaw Ale-8, which became a national hit.

The program helps growers improve propagation and orchard management.

Snow and ice have made driving dangerous in our area, and officials advised residents to avoid travel while crews work to prepare for the approaching winter storm.

Gov. Beshear warned residents on Sunday to avoid traveling as a severe winter storm brought dangerous icy roads and power outages.

Crews are working to clear hazards and help those affected (emergency services remain on standby).
