- ➤ Frankfort native Isaac Andrews was named to The University of Alabama’s President’s List for Fall Semester 2025 (he achieved a full 4.0 as a full-time undergraduate student). The State Journal
- ➤ Georgetown College released its Fall 2025 Dean’s List, recognizing Frankfort students who earned at least 12 credit hours and a 3.7 GPA. The list was published Wednesday, Feb. 4. The State Journal
- ➤ Frankfort County Public Schools held a winter weather Q&A on Wednesday, Feb. 4 to explain plans for NTI days and potential snow disruptions — giving parents and students vital update information. WKYT
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ State lawmakers are asking Ford to explain how it will repay a $250M loan given for an EV battery plant that closed. Negotiations continue on adjustments including a new job plan (2,100 jobs) with a resolution expected by April 15. Louisville Public Media
