- ➤ Meals on Wheels Greater Frankfort and the Capital City Activity Center offer a full week of events starting Monday with exercise, bingo, craft and prayer sessions. Locals can join chair yoga + music sessions and community games scheduled throughout the day. The State Journal
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Louisville Orchestra will perform a free concert at Western Hills High School (ticket reservations required) on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 7:30 p.m. This event is part of the In Harmony tour reaching underserved communities in Berea, Frankfort, and Danville. The State Journal
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Paul Sawyier Public Library is hosting a week of events for all ages — today at 2 p.m. Mason Colby performs live, with upcoming days featuring craft workshops, creative writing, digital sessions, and teen meetings at the library. The State Journal
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Kentucky House is considering a new law to ban commercial catfishing in the lower Ohio River area starting in 2027 (HB 397) to protect trophy catfish while still allowing recreational fishing. Lawmakers passed the Natural Resources and Energy Committee vote and full House vote is expected soon. Kentucky Today
