- ➤ The Capital City Activity Center will host a full week of activities featuring billiards, music, exercise, and varied programs. Events include exercise with Karen Monday, ring toss and knitting Tuesday, prayer and tai chi Wednesday, a cowboy-themed day Thursday, and free food Friday. The State Journal
- ➤ Veterans from Polymershapes recently donated over 20 new polycarbonate lenses to restore the lighting on the Kentucky Vietnam Veterans Memorial walkway, ensuring clearer illumination for over 1,000 honored veterans. Retired Colonel Jerry Cecil said the improved design features UV protection (with the memorial’s logo engraved) to support ongoing maintenance. LEX 18

- ➤ Franklin County High School theater will present Hadestown: Teen Edition from March 26-29 at FCHS, 1100 E. Main St. Performances run at 7 p.m. on March 26-28 and at 2 p.m. on March 29; tickets cost $10 and go on sale one hour before each show. The State Journal
- ➤ Frankfort Christian Academy will present Aladdin Jr. at 6:30 p.m. from March 26 through 28. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for students, and the production uses authorized materials from Music Theatre International (directed by Laura Ragsdale, Jennifer Kern, Lexie Mackey, and Maggie Warfield). - ➤ The Paul Sawyier Public Library is offering a schedule this week from Monday through Thursday with hands-on sand crafting for grades K-2, a treasure escape room for grades 3-12, and adult sessions on bees, photography, and literature; some events require registration + more details are available online or by phone.
