- ➤ After high flood waters forced Garrett’s Golf Garage to close for nearly a month in February, owner Garrett Hamilton said the business is bracing for severe weather as the river is expected to rise soon—bringing silt and mud that may make cleanup harder. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Kentucky State Police arrested Ronald Coffman, 41, and Zebadiah Murphy, 36, after a Monday traffic stop in Anderson County in Lawrenceburg that found illegal narcotics and two (IEDs) in a vehicle; a search of Murphy’s home uncovered two more (IEDs), additional parts, firearms and suppressors, and both men are due to be arraigned today at Anderson District Court with bonds set at $50,000 and $35,000, respectively. - ➤ Frankfort police say they are searching for 14-year-old Reid Lear who went missing Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the Leawood Square area—she was last seen wearing a red hoodie, ripped blue jeans and a purple flower clip in her hair. WKYT

- ➤ The Kentucky Opera announced its 2025-2026 season will include operas from La Traviata to Songbird and youth performances from the Youth Opera Project at its Kentucky Opera Center for Cultural Health.
