- ➤ Today, severe flooding in Frankfort forced Buffalo Trace Distillery to close after water inundated its lower-level buildings and parking areas—where markers from past floods are visible. The distillery said it will remain closed through April 10 while it assesses facility safety. WTVQ
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ After days of heavy rain that killed at least 18 people, the Kentucky River in Frankfort nearly reached record levels on Monday as local business owners moved items to safety. Emergency crews diverted traffic and turned off utilities, and they warned that more areas in the South and Midwest may soon hit major flood stage — a sign of the strong storm system. WKYT
