- ➤ The RCHS SBDM Council met on Tuesday, Apr. 7 at 9:00 a.m. CT (in the RCHS Library Media Room) to continue its search for a new principal. 92.7 The Wave
- ➤ Commonwealth Credit Union has opened nominations for its Teacher of the Year Award to honor outstanding educators. Nominations remain open until Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and three winners will each receive a $1,000 award during Teacher Appreciation Week. The State Journal

- ➤ Frankfort will host an Earth Day Festival on Saturday, Apr. 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Orlando Brown House, featuring free activities, music, games and environmental information from local partners (including Liberty Hall Historic Sites) as Mayor Layne Wilkerson presents an Earth Day Proclamation.
