EDUCATION NEWS

  • The RCHS SBDM Council met on Tuesday, Apr. 7 at 9:00 a.m. CT (in the RCHS Library Media Room) to continue its search for a new principal.  92.7 The Wave
  • Commonwealth Credit Union has opened nominations for its Teacher of the Year Award to honor outstanding educators. Nominations remain open until Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and three winners will each receive a $1,000 award during Teacher Appreciation Week.  The State Journal

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Frankfort will host an Earth Day Festival on Saturday, Apr. 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Orlando Brown House, featuring free activities, music, games and environmental information from local partners (including Liberty Hall Historic Sites) as Mayor Layne Wilkerson presents an Earth Day Proclamation.  The State Journal
