Beshear updated Kentuckians yesterday on severe weather recovery efforts that included six flood deaths, power outages, and road closures while urging residents not to drive through standing water. - ➤ The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources warned hunters that heavy floods will make access to public lands difficult during the spring turkey season, which will run April 12 to May 4 — the agency urged checking conditions and avoiding high water areas — to ensure safety.
