  • Frankfort groups GLOW Project and GlowNGrow Cleaning Services helped flood victims clear out homes damaged by the Kentucky River flood last week on Big Eddy Road - volunteers removed drywall and flooring from six homes while founder Heather Mammen said more help is needed. The cleanup marks just the first step in recovering homes that the flood left in ruin.  LEX 18

  • City leaders unveiled a flood relief section on Frankfort’s website on Saturday that offers storm damage forms, dumpster locations, and lists for donated supplies, shelter space and volunteer opportunities to help residents recover from recent floods—officials say the site links key resources for those seeking aid or wishing to donate.  FOX 56
  • City officials announced upcoming scrap metal — household hazardous waste drop-off events as part of cleanup efforts following last week's heavy rains and flooding.   • Attorney General Russell Coleman said on Saturday that he joined 51 state attorneys to fight robocalls—his office sent warning letters to nine companies for potential violations.  FOX 56
  • Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman urged residents to delete their 23andMe data after the company filed for bankruptcy in March. He said state law gave customers the right to permanently remove their genetic information and destroy stored DNA samples.  LINK nky
