  • Cleanup efforts continue in Frankfort after last week's floods as neighbors work together to clear mud and repair damage—local officials and volunteers have set up a downtown supply center to distribute cleaning materials and hot meals. EDUCATION NEWS

  • During Dual Credit Week from April 14 to 18, KCTCS said that over 36,000 high school students signed up for dual credit courses during the 2023-24 school year, a rise of 12.5% from last year—29,000 students saved nearly $15 million in tuition last fall by taking 5,524 courses.  Kentucky Today

  • Franklin County courthouse remains closed due to severe flood damage as cleanup crews work on repairs and courts shift to temporary locations and Zoom for hearings. Officials said criminal trials will resume Friday—while appeals and family cases continue remotely as the recovery progresses.  WTVQ
  • Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman and a bipartisan coalition of 51 attorneys general sent warning letters to nine voice service providers for routing illegal robocalls — actions that may violate state and federal law — and they shared their concerns with the FCC after Kentuckians received 58 million robocalls in March.  Kentucky Today
