🏛️ Government
Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources will host its annual spring live auction on Monday, May 5 at its headquarters on 1 Sportsman’s Lane in Frankfort.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the auction starts at 9:30 a.m.—the event will take place rain or shine.
Frankfort Attorney General Russell Coleman has recognized April as Child Abuse Prevention Month and is seeking grant proposals to fund educational programs that prevent child abuse and neglect.
The proposals may receive funding amounts of ($1,000 to $5,000) and must be submitted by April 30, with funded events set for fiscal year 2026 (July 1 to June 30).
