- ➤ The Mighty Marching Thorobreds of Kentucky State University will perform in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade in Arizona on Jan. 2, 2027 and become the first HBCU group invited to the event. Band director (Dr. Rodney D. Chism) leads the ensemble following notable national events. The State Journal
