Lieutenant Presley O-Bannon, an American hero known for his 1805 marine expedition, was honored Saturday at Frankfort cemetery in a ceremony marking the Marine Corps’ 250th Anniversary and the 220th Anniversary of the flag raising in Tripoli plus Major General Jerry Humble delivered the keynote address with a wreath-laying and military oath renewal completing the event.
