EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ BCTC received a $427,622 grant to expand its Recovery to Work Program, which offers workforce training and peer support credentials. The grant, lasting two years, will remove financial barriers and boost job training across its eight campuses (Central Kentucky). Kentucky Today
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Overnight storms caused power outages and uprooted trees in Franklin and Woodford Counties. Utility crews are working to clear debris and restore service while residents experience temporary disruptions. WKYT
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Kentucky Public Service Commission is holding a two-day nuclear conference on May 12 and 13 at the Kentucky History Center on Broadway in downtown Frankfort to discuss nuclear energy's role in the state.
