- ➤ After Monday night's storm sent a tree branch crashing into his home, Frankfort resident Weslee Woolums said he could not walk through his front door and is staying in a hotel with his aunt while an engineer assesses if the structure can be rebuilt. LEX 18
- ➤ Four tornadoes struck parts of Kentucky late Monday and early Tuesday, snapping trees and damaging a few homes near Jewel City, Livermore, Millerstown, and along Rough River — no injuries were reported. Kentucky Today

- ➤ Lopez Land Farm Market at 2400 Bridgeport-Benson Road in Frankfort was accepted into the 2026 Kentucky Farm Bureau Certified Farm Market Program, certifying its local meats, produce, baked goods, and value-added offerings – it hosts farm tours from April through July on Fridays through Sundays. - ➤ A new study from Kentucky State University and Washington State University shows that treating dairy manure with anaerobic digestion and hydrothermal treatment increases biogas yield by 52% (a breakthrough for local farmers).
