Federal REAL ID enforcement for domestic air travel will begin tomorrow as residents must update their IDs at regional driver’s licensing offices—visitors need to bring proof of identification, Social Security, and residency to meet the requirements.
Officials stress that standard IDs without the black star may require additional documents like a passport or military ID during travel.
The Kentucky State Police graduated 33 cadets from the KSP Training Academy after 24 weeks of training, and the new troopers have begun their public safety careers across the commonwealth.
One graduate, Sean Sweat from Somerset, has been assigned to KSP Post 15—while Cadet Class 106 will start on August 10.
