- ➤ Kentucky State Police said yesterday that they were searching for Bobby Westrick, 47, accused of assault and strangulation in connection with a 2024 indictment and described him as 6 feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes while asking anyone with information to call KSP Post 5 (502-532-6363) in Campbellsburg. Andy Beshear announced Wednesday that Disaster Unemployment Assistance will be available in 24 more counties after severe storms starting April 2 caused job losses in Kentucky, and eligible residents (including self-employed) must submit proof of lost work and required documents by June 23 to receive up to 29 weeks of benefits.
