- ➤ A KYSTATS report from the Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet showed jobless rates fell in 81 counties, rose in 31, and stayed the same in eight counties from April 2024 to April 2025. Woodford County had the lowest rate at 3.1% while Martin County recorded the highest at 9.3%—the report noted that the state rate was 4.4% compared to the nation’s 3.9%. Kentucky Today
