The Kentucky Department of Education extended COVID relief funds to two Boone County projects for an online learning tool and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library + denied over $10 million for other school projects.
School districts plan to appeal the denials as they work with state officials to find money for contracts already signed.
Attorney General Russell Coleman reappointed three members of the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission.
Darren (Foot) Allen of Mt. Vernon, Von Purdy, and Deborah Rains from Louisville will serve until June 30, 2027 as they help continue efforts to fight the opioid crisis.
