- ➤ Attorney General Russell Coleman announced that a court has ordered Lexington Blue to halt operations and freeze accounts while his office investigates alleged unlawful business activity involving $4.8M from over 300 projects (including over 70 consumer complaints) (aimed at curbing predatory practices). - ➤ The Chamber of Commerce released a study showing that Kentucky ranked 45th for wealth nationwide (tied with West Virginia) due to low incomes and high poverty rates; the research used six economic measures and found most of the country's poorest states are in the South. - ➤ The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources announced that fishing licenses will be free this weekend—June 7-8 so that local families can enjoy fishing on public waters.
