- ➤ Gov. Beshear recognized World Elder Abuse Awareness Day at an event in Frankfort today—June is now Elder Abuse and Exploitation Awareness Month in Kentucky. WKYT
- ➤ Governor Beshear signed a proclamation on Friday morning that makes June Elder Abuse & Exploitation Awareness Month in Kentucky, noting that 1 in 10 people over 60 have experienced abuse. Officials gathered in the Capitol Rotunda to recognize local efforts and programs that aim to protect seniors. WKYT
