📰 Economy
Gas prices fell to $3.99 a gallon nationally, with regular gas at $3.63 in Kentucky by mid-day Wednesday (a 9.3 cent drop) according to GasBuddy data.
Oil prices plunged after a U.S.-Iran deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and further relief may come if market conditions hold.
🎓 Education
Kentucky State University will begin exterior renovation of the Exum Center starting the week of June 22.
Spectrum Contracting will set up a staging area and adjust building access so faculty, staff, and visitors follow posted signs until the work is complete.
Retired teacher John Chaney is launching the Winchester-Clark County Entrepreneurial Academy this fall to help teenagers build their own businesses.
The nine‐week, free program meets at Cardinal Community Center beginning in September and includes hands‐on learning, business guidance, and a chance to earn $250 seed money during a pitch competition.

Sakota Wilder, who graduated from Western Hills last month, signed to play basketball at Union Commonwealth University in Barbourville.
He played varsity basketball for six years (WHHS).
