- ➤ A horse trainer said that backside workers at Churchill Downs remain on edge after ICE raided Delta Downs in Louisiana on Tuesday, arresting over 80 people and sparking fears that a similar raid could soon remove many of the nearly 1,000 workers who help run the racetrack — policymakers are meeting to address the potential impact on local jobs. - ➤ Franklin County officials said that Elkhorn Creek levels surged overnight on Wednesday to 9.38 feet as heavy rainfall caused fast currents and hidden debris. The Franklin County Fire Department warned residents to avoid water activities and reported several water rescues in recent weeks — urging caution to keep people safe. FOX 56
