The Paul Sawyier Public Library will host free events this week.
On Tuesday, grades 3-12 can create dinosaurs at 4:30 p.m. and adults can join a film discussion at 6 p.m.; later events include community talks, book groups, family shows at Bridgeport Elementary, and Frankfort Fridays at Capital City Museum.
The Capital City Activity Center shows a busy weekly schedule for all ages, with Monday through Friday events including billiards, workout classes, game competitions, and social clubs at Meals on Wheels Greater Frankfort.
Residents are invited to join sessions like chair yoga, devotions, and a Free Food drive Friday morning.
East Frankfort Baptist Church will host its annual Free Yard Sale at 457 Versailles Road from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27.
All items are free (with no early bird admissions).
🎓 Education
Free shoes will be distributed at Bondurant Middle School on Aug.
1 from 9 a.m. to noon as part of the Turning Bare Feet into Learning Feet event for students in Frankfort and Franklin County. Donations of new tennis shoes, Croc, Converse and athletic slides are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
