WKYT and WYMT are partnering with the American Red Cross to raise funds for disaster relief after recent floods in Kentucky.
Donations can be made online or by texting REDCROSS to 90999.
Kentucky River Tours closed its boat, canoe and kayak trips Monday and today due to flooding in Frankfort.
It plans to reopen services tomorrow, July 1, if river conditions allow and advises customers with reservations to call for updates.

The Kentucky State Police are asking the public to vote for their 2024 Mustang GT cruiser in the Best Looking Cruiser Contest, with voting ending Friday, July 10 at 12 p.m. EDT.

Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources will increase waterway patrols Friday through Sunday for Independence Day weekend to boost safe boating as part of Operation Dry Water — a national effort uniting game wardens and law enforcement.
Boaters should remain sober and wear safety gear.
