- ➤ PSC and KCTCS announced a new PSC 811 Damage Prevention Scholarship that will award $2,000 scholarships during the 2025-26 academic year to students at 10 community and technical colleges studying construction, heavy equipment operations or plumbing technology. The program, supported by a $66,000 fund, will help cover tuition and fees — a measure to train a workforce to safely manage underground utility lines — and aims to reduce dig-in incidents. - ➤ Gov. Beshear updated state policies on economic development, property tax cuts and disaster funding on July 10, 2025, noting major manufacturing investments, severe weather recovery funds & driver licensing improvements that contributed to fewer highway fatalities.
