Gov. Beshear announced Friday that since waiving the GED testing fee, more Kentuckians without a high school diploma have earned their GED certificate with a 78 percent pass rate—exceeding the national average of 74 percent—and stated that GED testing will soon reach areas with limited access. This marks a continued effort to help Kentuckians pursue a brighter future through accessible education.

Frankfort officials say the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is receiving scam texts that pretend to be from the agency — the texts claim unpaid tickets and driver suspensions — and caution residents not to click on suspicious links.
The Cabinet advises people to check with them directly before sharing any personal information.
