The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet warned Kentuckians on July 18 about scam texts that claim unpaid traffic tickets and warn that driving privileges will be suspended — residents are urged not to click any links and to verify suspicious messages.

Today, Frankfort Regional Medical Center hosted its 14th Kids Safety Day where children ages 4 to 10 received free helmets and bike safety training in memory of Charlie Semones—who lost his life in a bicycle accident in 2012.
Hospital leaders stressed that wearing helmets is key to preventing serious injuries.
