  • Nitto officially opened its new production facility at 120 Fortune Drive in Franklin County’s Industrial Park 3, adding 220 full-time jobs and more production space. Governor Andy Beshear attended today's ribbon cutting and local officials called it Franklin County’s largest job commitment in 15 years — a boost for local business.  WKYT

  • Female lawmakers in Kentucky face limited restroom facilities at the Capitol where only two stalls serve women, forcing tough timing choices during long floor sessions. A planned renovation (finishing in 2028) will add more restrooms for women to address the longstanding disparity.  LEX 18
  • Female legislators at the Statehouse have long dealt with only two available women’s restrooms on the third floor — forcing them to risk missing key debates and votes.   • Local advocates have started a petition urging state lawmakers to create a public domestic violence offenders list—modeled after the state’s sex-offender registry—after social worker Hayley Davidson was murdered by her boyfriend, a sheriff’s deputy who later took his own life.  WTVQ
