2, political candidates including Representative Andy Barr, former Attorney General Daniel Cameron and businessman Nate Morris campaigned for the vacant Senate seat after Mitch McConnell’s departure + the event featured food, games and music. FOX 56 News provided live coverage + the Red, White, and Bluegrass podcast streamed updates of the picnic.
Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman released an opinion on Friday stating that the new law limiting teacher-student communication does not violate free speech or religious freedom because it is designed to prevent untraceable inappropriate contact in digital communications.
State Sen. Lindsey Tichenor said the opinion confirms the law is legally sound+ local districts can now confidently enforce the new rules to protect student safety.
