- ➤ Governor Beshear ordered flags at all state buildings to be lowered to half-staff today to honor Kentucky soldier Rodger E. Fields, whose remains were identified in May after he died in the Korean War on Dec. 1. He will be interred at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery South East in Hyden today—this act honors his service. LEX 18
- ➤ The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources recognized over 30 employees for outstanding 2024 service at an awards luncheon on July 22 at the Harold R. Benson Research and Demonstration Farm in Frankfort.
