- ➤ Kentucky farmers donated nearly one million dollars to the AgTag program in 2025, marking the largest donation ever, as Commissioner Jonathan Shell announced at the state fair. The funds are split equally among 4-H, FFA & the Kentucky Department of Agriculture to support youth and agriculture initiatives. Kentucky Today

- ➤ Lee and Betty Troutwine have placed their 100 acres near Elkhorn Creek in a voluntary conservation easement with Woods and Waters Land Trust to keep the land undeveloped — a decision that protects rare habitats like Braun’s rockcress and maintains public fishing access used by thousands over 40 years.
