  • The Paul Sawyier Public Library announced a full week of free events starting Monday with Fall Science at 4:30 p.m. for young children, followed by family and adult workshops including a cooking session, yoga, and poetry readings—registration is required for select sessions.  The State Journal
  • The Capital City Activity Center will host a weeklong series from Sept. 29 to Oct. 3 that offers daily activities such as billiards, reflexology, exercise classes, health checks, and social gatherings like free food Friday and a magical market — all planned by Meals on Wheels Greater Frankfort to provide varied options for local residents.  The State Journal

CULTURE NEWS

  • Square 1 Church has scheduled a Christian Concert on Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. at Memories Event Venue at 811 Louisville Road in Frankfort—featuring headliners Grave Robber and I Against No One with a suggested $10 donation that will support local outreach.  The State Journal
