- ➤ The hiking trails at the Tom Dorman Nature Preserve are closed due to an ongoing investigation by the Garrard County Sheriff's Office — officials say there is no public threat. LEX 18

- ➤ A Powell County EMS worker and judge-executive will appear before KBEMS Tuesday morning in Frankfort after they administered anti-venom to a snake bite victim outside their authorized training—an expert explained that only wilderness paramedics have the proper training for this care. WKYT
