  • Melisa Lacy has fulfilled her lifelong dream by running Melisa’s Diner at 859 E. Main St. since 2019—after her husband Roylin passed away, she now serves home-style meals every weekday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The State Journal
  • Castle & Key Distillery announced that Sherrie Moore has been appointed as plant manager, and she began her career in 1975 at Jack Daniel’s Distillery. Moore brings over 30 years of distilling experience and will lead the plant as the company expands its operations — aiming to enhance production quality and efficiency.  The State Journal
  • Sara Mitchum opened Afterglow Salon & Spa in spring 2007 to fulfill a lifelong dream and now runs the salon at 60 Devil’s Hollow Road where seven hairdressers, three nail technicians, and a massage therapist serve clients Monday through Saturday—she values a family-like work environment and client privacy.  The State Journal
