- ➤ State Budget Director John Hicks said Monday that October’s General Fund receipts fell 0.5% to $1,181.6 million compared to $1,187.9 million last year — sales tax grew 14.5% and the FY26 budget projects a 2.3% drop from FY25. Kentucky Today

- ➤ The FDA advised ByHeart, Inc. to recall two lots of its infant formula after 13 infant botulism cases were reported in ten states, though no cases have been confirmed in Kentucky—parents are urged to discard the product immediately and record package details if symptoms occur. Kentucky Today
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Kentucky football's defense played well against Florida on Saturday night but three key players—Sam Greene, Jordan Lovett and Alex Afari—were injured.
