- ➤ Buffalo Trace Distillery will host its 27th annual Holidays at the Trace from Dec. 4-31—guests can enjoy light trail experiences, cocktail events for adults, a drive-through light show, and extended gift shop hours. - ➤ Bridgeport Christian Church will host a readers theatre performance of A Christmas Carol, adapted by local playwright Stephen Taylor, on Dec. 7 at 3 p.m. at 175 Evergreen Road. - ➤ On May 6, Frankfort Independent Schools Superintendent Dr. Sheri Satterly proposed that Frankfort High move from the 11th Region to the 8th Region—she soon learned the KHSAA Board of Control voted 13—3 to deny the request for geographic consistency. - ➤ Frankfort Independent Schools was awarded a $100,000 federal grant from the DOJ Office of Community Oriented Policing Services through the FY25 School Violence Prevention Program — the funding recognizes the district's efforts to boost school safety for students and staff.
