- ➤ Frankfort will celebrate the season with its 77th Annual Christmas Parade on Dec. 6 as the event starts at 6 p.m. at Commonwealth Credit Union on High Street—led by Grand Marshal Amy Snow—where floats, marching bands, and twinkling lights will transform downtown into a storybook scene. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ The Kentucky Chamber Foundation is partnering with the Fletcher Group to lead Kentucky’s role in the Connect Appalachia project by using the ARISE grant to launch Recovery Ready Workplaces training that supports job-readiness and recovery efforts. The project will work with several regional partners (including behavioral health and workforce organizations) to boost economic opportunities across Appalachia. Kentucky Today
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) is seeking nominations for 16 high school teachers and counselors to receive the annual Pathfinder Award. Nominations are open to all Kentucky educators until Dec. 31, and award winners will be honored early next year. The State Journal
