- ➤ The Kentucky State Police's annual Trooper Teddy Black Friday sale is underway, having started November 27 and running until December 2, with teddy bears priced at $20 available online and at KSP Posts. Each bear sold helps fund the Trooper Teddy Project that comforts children in hard times, and Gov. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Public health officials reported that a mutated strain of Influenza A H3N2 from the Southern hemisphere is now causing flu outbreaks and warned that the season could be severe. They urged everyone 6 months and older to get the trivalent flu shot soon, noting that antiviral medications work best when started within two days of symptoms. Kentucky Today
- ➤ OneQuest Health and NKU secured $100,000 in funding to create scholarships for NKU’s Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program to help ease Kentucky’s mental health workforce shortage.
