- ➤ Kentucky Capital Development Corporation changed its name to Develop Frankfort to boost its role in driving local economic growth. City leaders said the rebrand aligns with updated digital tools and new jobs — as announced today. The State Journal
- ➤ Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Jonathan Shell announced that registration is open for the 2026 Kentucky Fruit and Vegetable Conference, which will be held Jan. 12-13 at the Sloan Convention Center in Bowling Green with pre-events on Jan. 11 (early bird pricing runs until Dec. 19). - ➤ The Kentucky Department of Education has launched the You Belong! Attendance Matters contest inviting K–12 public school students to create a video or digital poster on school attendance as part of the 2026 Student Technology Leadership Program State Championship in Lexington — registration is open through Feb. 13 with winners announced on April 24.
