- ➤ Stord Inc. announced plans to expand its Hebron facility with a $40 million investment that will add a 525,000 sqft warehouse with an 8,772 sqft second floor and create over 500 jobs in Boone County. The expansion will roll out over the next several years. Kentucky Today
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Bourbon Tango will host a five-week dance lesson series titled 'New Year’s Resolution: Fun' starting Jan. 9 at Kentucky Dance Academy on Wapping St. Classes occur each Friday with an open house on Jan. 9 — swing at 5:30 p.m. and tango at 6:30 p.m. — with pricing at $100 per person and $200 per couple plus a pre-Christmas discount. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Started Nov. 12 at 231 E. Main St., the Boys and Girls Club now serves 29 children daily by offering homework help and emotional support. Club director Maggie Goodnight said the club plans to expand its programming to include middle school students. The State Journal
- ➤ OSEEL celebrates the 50th anniversary of IDEA as education leaders reflect on progress made since the law was signed in 1975. The department honored the law by renewing its pledge to remove barriers and support students with disabilities. Kentucky Today
