- ➤ Capital City Activity Center and Meals on Wheels Greater Frankfort planned a series of daily activities for Monday-Friday, including billiards, bingo, exercise classes and tai-chi sessions. - ➤ Outdoor enthusiasts can purchase fishing, hunting and boating licenses today at online portals and local agent locations. Fees remain unchanged from last year, and first-time buyers can choose a special sportsman’s license for $37 — additional guides and details are available on the department’s website. 92.7 The Wave
- ➤ The House passed HB 497 that requires seniors (65+) to file the FAFSA to maintain their college tuition waiver, a change some lawmakers say creates barriers amid a 56-36 vote. Lawmakers now hope the Senate will drop the requirement to preserve the waiver that has supported seniors for 50 years. LINK nky
- ➤ Kentucky drivers can now order the Friends of Agriculture plate following HB 157 which expanded eligibility for agricultural plates. The plate features designs by FFA and 4-H students and supports local Ag Tag funds while being available at County Clerk offices and online. 92.7 The Wave
