The Capital City Activity Center will host a full week of activities featuring billiards, music, exercise, and varied programs.

Events include exercise with Karen Monday, ring toss and knitting Tuesday, prayer and tai chi Wednesday, a cowboy-themed day Thursday, and free food Friday.

Veterans from Polymershapes recently donated over 20 new polycarbonate lenses to restore the lighting on the Kentucky Vietnam Veterans Memorial walkway, ensuring clearer illumination for over 1,000 honored veterans.

Retired Colonel Jerry Cecil said the improved design features UV protection (with the memorial’s logo engraved) to support ongoing maintenance.
