De Jarnette—a U.S. Army Air Force pilot from northern Kentucky killed in action during World War II—whose remains were identified and will be interred in Erlanger next month. Flags will be lowered to half-staff on the day of his burial.

Kentucky football landed 4-star offensive lineman Jarvis Strickland from Paducah Tilghman when he committed to join the Wildcats over Michigan, Ole Miss, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Louisville.

His official visit is scheduled for the weekend of May 30 (Strickland is ranked 17th best, stands 6-foot-6, and weighs 294 pounds).
