The RCHS SBDM Council met on Tuesday, Apr.
7 at 9:00 a.m. CT (in the RCHS Library Media Room) to continue its search for a new principal.
Commonwealth Credit Union has opened nominations for its Teacher of the Year Award to honor outstanding educators.
Nominations remain open until Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and three winners will each receive a $1,000 award during Teacher Appreciation Week.
Frankfort will host an Earth Day Festival on Saturday, Apr.
18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Orlando Brown House, featuring free activities, music, games and environmental information from local partners (including Liberty Hall Historic Sites) as Mayor Layne Wilkerson presents an Earth Day Proclamation.

8 a.m. – 4 p.m. — Kentucky State University Research Farm — $50 — Educational sessions on youth health with networking opportunities and lunch included.
