Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass is short on male mentors as Kentucky children return to class.
The organization said 48 boys and 28 girls are on the waiting list and it invites men to volunteer soon.

Gov. Beshear announced on Thursday that his administration launched the StopScams.ky.gov website and educational events to help Kentuckians avoid scams that cost them over $74 million each year.
The site explains how to spot scams, report fraud, and recover losses (Public Protection Cabinet officials led the effort).
