Kentucky highway safety officials will observe Crash Responder Safety Week (Nov.

17 to Nov. 21) to remind drivers to slow down, move over, and stay alert so that first responders are kept safe. Gov. Andy Beshear said the updated law now requires drivers to give extra room to any vehicle showing flashing lights or warning signals.
