The Capital City Activity Center offers a busy week of programs from Dec.

8-12 including bingo, exercise classes, craft workshops, and a Christmas Craft Market; daily sessions run 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the center to engage community members of all ages.

Cody Burke, a cattle farmer from Franklin County, won first place in the Kentucky Farm Bureau’s 2025 Discussion Meet today and earned a Kubota RTV for his debate skills.

He will represent Kentucky at the national competition in January.

Frankfort High School drama club will present its 32nd staging of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever beginning Thursday, Dec.
