The Capital City Activity Center offers a busy week of programs from Dec.

Cody Burke, a cattle farmer from Franklin County, won first place in the Kentucky Farm Bureau’s 2025 Discussion Meet today and earned a Kubota RTV for his debate skills.
He will represent Kentucky at the national competition in January.
The Paul Sawyier Public Library offers a full week of events, from Sunday's live holiday music with the Dorian Invasion Trio to Monday’s Family Yarn Trees, Tuesday’s Teen Homeschool Club meeting at Capital City Museum, Wednesday’s PokéClub and Yoga for Beginners, Thursday’s Homeschool Club session, and Saturday’s Selfies with Santa.
Frankfort High School drama club will present its 32nd staging of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever beginning Thursday, Dec.
11 at 7 p.m. at Karen Kimmel Hatter Theatre (328 Shelby St), with additional shows on Dec. 12, 13, and a matinee on Dec. 14; admission costs $10 and $5 for students.
